Create Your Store

Are you a developer? Maybe it's time to start selling your work! InStore makes creating your store quick and easy. In just a few minutes, you can be selling products!

You must purchase an InStore license before you create a store.

Step 1: Obtain your InStore License ID

To create an InStore, you must first purchase and obtain an InStore license ID. This can be found in the DM from Insource when you purchased a license, or via the /profile instore command in Insource Systems.

Step 2: Obtain the Roblox File

In your store's Discord server, start the /managestore create command. Paste your License ID here, and execute the command. You will be given a Roblox Place File to download and open in Roblox Studio.

A License ID can only be used for one InStore. You must purchase a second license to setup a second store.

Step 3: Publish the Hub

Open the provided Roblox File in Roblox Studio. If this is a brand new store, publish this as a new experience as shown in the gif. If you are transferring in from another commerce provider, you can overwrite the original store hub with this file. Then open that in studio, and continue with the game settings configuration.

Once you have published the experience, you'll now see a Game Settings tab. InStore requires certain privileges to access the API and allow users to be teleported to the secure Insource Account Center if they need to manage their account. Don't worry, they're provided with the ability to teleport right back to your store when they're done!

You also must set the maximum players per server to 1. This ensures only one user is in each instance of your hub. Configuring any player count greater than 1 will result in an error for any users trying to join your hub.

And finally, if you wish to do so now, set your experience to public so everyone can join your hub!
